Recreation and Tourism
The villages of the municipality of Loppersum and their green surroundings - a nice place to live. Is it not wonderful, to always have a place nearby in your spare time to get a breath of fresh air, to have something fun to do or just to enjoy the space and tranquility at your leisure? It is also an attractive destination for tourists in the Northern Netherlands. For a carefree day out, a weekend away from crowds or a longer holiday. The pearls of our region? A vast landscape with endless views, stately farmhouses, quiet homes and country houses, quiet country roads for walking or cycling, canals and rivers, ancient village churches (unique in the Netherlands), a rich history anyway, so beautiful stories everywhere to listen to. Logically that people like to come here. Hence also the motto 'Natuurlijk Loppersum!'
